Tally Twins is a specialized flight school dedicated exclusively to multi-engine training. By focusing solely on twin-engine aircraft, we provide students with a training experience designed to build confidence, precision, and real-world proficiency in multi-engine operations. Whether you're pursuing your Commercial Multi-Engine Add-On, preparing for your Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) certificate, or seeking recurrent proficiency training to sharpen your skills, our instruction is tailored to your individual goals. Training is conducted in a Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche, combining personalized one-on-one instruction with an emphasis on safety, professionalism, and practical decision-making to prepare pilots for success well beyond their checkride.
About Your Instructor
My name is Sophie and I've been flying for about 4 years now. My aviation journey started halfway through college after taking a discovery flight, and I was hooked from day one. After graduating from Florida State University and completing my certificates and ratings, I began instructing and quickly began a passion for helping others experience the incredible adventures that happen in the cockpit.
I completed my Commercial Multi-Engine and MEI training in a Twin Comanche and quickly came to appreciate what makes it such a great training aircraft. Its forgiving handling, efficient performance, and classic yet practical systems make it an excellent plane to introduce pilots to the world of multi-engine flying.
